The Norman mcNeil Family Foundation

To continue the legacy of Norman McNeil.

Dedicated to lifelong learning and excellence in education for the improvement of (especially rural) communities.

About

Norman McNeil was born into slavery on the island of Tobago on July 3, 1821. He grew up to be a stalwart on this island.

The Norman McNeil Family Foundation, (NMFF), being aware of the work of Norman McNeil, and being aware of the still existing needs for pertinent education among the descendants of the African Enslavement Experience, both in his name and on our own account have dedicated ourselves to impacting education among this sector in positive ways.

Film

The descendants of Norman McNeil have funded a short film to commemorate him and his story. See more...
